Sitemap

A Sitemap is an XML file auto generated by LayerSync. It is stored in this section and can be downloaded if required.

Metadata

Metadata is where all the metadata sitewide can be found. Metadata can be updated in individual pages as well - however, this section compiles it all in one list, that clearly indicates what pages are missing metadata and which pages are not. Metadata can easily be added here as well, generally it is much faster and easier to add metadata from this page as you can do it for all pages in one go.

The list view displays the ID generated by the CMS, Page Title, Page Type, Metadata Status and an action column where Metadata can be created/edited.

It’s important metadata is populated as it is what helps your site appear in Google searches, taking words and phrases used from what you have populated.

Often we will populate this Metadata on behalf of a client.
