The Compliance Space approached Fly with the challenge of creating a new brand that can cut through the noise created by GDPR compliance and the myriad of solutions that have arisen to manage data risks within organisations. They needed a full set of brand guidelines, a new website, a UX re-skin of the existing application and a suite of videos including tutorials on how to use the platform.
The Compliance Space’s logo communicates the fact that GDPR is complex, but The Compliance Space simplify it. It resembles a fingerprint which, when animated, slides into place like a lock, representing security. With the logo complete, we could then use elements from it as brand devices across the website and social media assets.
Next, we designed the website and software UX/UI based around the branding. The Compliance Space website needed to be straightforward and, above all, needed to communicate the fact that they simplify GDPR (which is no mean feat!) We spent time getting to know the software inside out so we could confidently re-design the interface, and on top of that, could create explainer videos, detailing each element of the software.
The Compliance Space needed a video on their homepage that showed how the software works, and what better way to demonstrate this than with an animation! We kept the animation style clean and simple with vector illustrations, which are on-brand and suit the overall look of the website.
The Fly team created a series of templates that could be used on LinkedIn, mostly to visually represent new blog and news articles. We enjoyed regularly working with The Compliance to design new posts and help drive engagement.
The result of our work with The Compliance Space was a fantastic brand, a comprehensive easy-to-navigate website and software design, and eye-catching, on-brand social posts. The Compliance Space was measured up against it’s competitors and outshone them. We greatly improved the application’s UX, with significant appreciation coming from CIOs in large organisations.
